Wayne State University (WSU) is a renowned national public research university that is in an urban setting. WSU has many colleges centered on various disciplinary fields of study. WSU’s mission is focused on educational excellence, inclusion, and social justice.

I earned my Educational Specialist (Ed. S.) professional certificate from Wayne State University College of Education’s department of Administrative Organizational Study certificate program with the focus on performance improvement and instructional technology. Now this department has renamed itself to the department of “Learning Design and Technology”!

This Educational Specialist Ed.S. professional certificate program centers on providing a learning and design foundation for those who desire to enhance their administrative skills and practices in the field of education. It also provided me foundation of preliminary steps toward earning my PhD as well.
