ADDIE stands for Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. It is a recognized systematic approach to designing instruction used by many instructional designers. Each component is usually considered before moving to the next one. Although there are other well-known approaches to designing instruction, Addie is one that is renown in the field of instructional design.
